Morgan + Milo Sparkle Mary Janes

p10706211If I wanted a little fashion pick-me-up – a sartorial tiramisu, if you will – for around $40, I’d be hard pressed to find much bang for my buck. That same $40 when used to buy something for my daughter, however, yields squeals of delight every time a grown adult female sees Tink wearing her new sparkly Mary Jane sneaks. There’s nothing I could ever wear that would spread that kind of joy.

Milo + Morgan made a similar style for fall/winter – without the flower – and I was hoping to find a leftover pair in Tink’s size at an awesome markdown. No luck, so I sprung for the new spring style. The fact that they’re sparkly enough to be “dress shoes” but essentially still sneakers helped me justify the cost. They’re easy for Tink to put on, they seem well-made, and they’re comfy.

The only problem is that they make her look way too big when she wears them:
